As a Residential Service Plumber, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems while helping homeowners understand their options and make informed decisions. What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems.
• Service and install water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, disposals, sump pumps, ejector pumps, and related equipment.
• Repair water lines, drain lines, leaks, valves, and other plumbing components.
• Perform plumbing inspections and identify code, safety, and performance concerns.
• Explain diagnosed problems and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options.
• Obtain customer approval before completing work and collect payment when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate service notes, estimates, photos, and follow-up information.
• Communicate parts, scheduling, and return-trip needs promptly to the office.
• Maintain an organized vehicle, tools, materials, and assigned inventory.
• Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, professional work area.
• Participate in required meetings, technical training, and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous residential plumbing service and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, materials, and applicable codes.
• Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to explain technical findings and available options clearly to homeowners.
• Commitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality work.
• Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent experience preferred.
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to perform physical work in basements, crawl spaces, bathrooms, and outdoor conditions.
