Warehouse Packer – Pet Treat Packaging

Location: Romeo, MI
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable Warehouse Packers to join our team in Romeo, MI. This is a hands-on warehouse position packaging quality pet treats for retail distribution.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable performing repetitive tasks, and able to remain on their feet throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Transfer bulk pet treats from master cartons or pallets into retail packaging.
• Count and weigh products according to packaging specifications.
• Apply product labels accurately and ensure proper placement.
• Operate heat-sealing equipment to securely seal retail bags.
• Inspect finished packages for product count, label accuracy, seal quality, and overall appearance.
• Pack completed retail bags into shipping cartons.
• Assemble, tape, and prepare shipping cartons for shipment.
• Stack completed cartons onto pallets according to palletizing guidelines.
• Wrap finished pallets for storage and shipment.
• Maintain accurate product counts while minimizing waste.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
